Gospel Light Baptist Church

Pastor Doug Ellis was saved in 1988 at Lakeland Street Baptist Church, Haltom City, Texas, under the ministry of Dr. A.F. Jernigan. He has been an active church member ever since. He felt God's calling into the ministry in 2003 under the ministry of Pastor Karl Ogdie. Pastor Ellis began studying at Trinity Baptist Bible college that same year and graduated with a Bachelors in Pastoral Theology in 2007. Pastor Ellis graduated with his Master of Biblical Theology in 2013.

Our Children's Ministries Director

Matthew Strange was saved on July 24, 2005. That same year, he was called into the ministry under the ministry of Pastor Nolen Partridge of Bible Baptist Church in Justin, Texas. He started studying at Crown Southwest in 2007 and graduated in May of 2012. Bro. Strange married Amanda Strange in May of 2009 and they have been serving together under Pastor Ellis in the Children's Ministry since April 2010.
