Why is an Awana Program important?
Here at Gospel Light, we believe that it is important to impress the scriptures upon the heart of our children. AWANA means approved workmen are not ashamed. Through this program, children learn the Word of God while growing in their christian character. It is important that our kids know how to stand up for their Savior and what better way is there than through the scriptures.
Teaching is Key
Our leaders are dedicated to instilling the Word of God in your child's heart. Each leader is familiar with the awana program or has been through it themselves. There is no greater responsibity than teaching children the Word of God.
During Awana, we have game time, snack time, handbook time, and devotion time. Your child will have a great time.
